Despite how enthralling Luciferian Frequencies was, with it’s nuanced presentation, Corpus Christii have returned to what they do best. Cold and caustic black metal with chaotic percussion and fiery trem riffing that yields tons of underlying melodies and vocals that sound vitriolic and primal. PaleMoon serves as a not so gentle reminder that Corpus Christii is, indeed, one of Portugal’s most devastating black metal acts.
