Just about a year and a half after the last long player "Apokalypse Galore" (2023), Eden Weint Im Grab present a new EP called "Reliquiem", which with eight songs is almost album length. It is the first release with the new violinist Le Batelier. On it, the Berlin dark metal band presents some surprises and dares to experiment out of the ordinary. Among the five brand new songs is also a duet with Krankheit singer Christian Präauer. Furthermore, to mark the band's 20th anniversary, there is a new recording of their very first song, "Den Herbstlaubreigen tanzt der Tod". A reprise of the song “Am Ende aller Zeiten” was recorded with Molllust singer Janika Groß, and we can be particularly excited about the cover version of Monty Python’s “Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life” in death metal guise. As always, the band combines hard metal with chamber music elements and dark, morbid lyrics. In its elegant six-string digisleeve, the CD is a real no-brainer for fans of the Berlin band.
