Description
Founded back in 1995 by Frank Nordmann, ASARU was one of the very first black metal bands to emerge from Southern Hesse – and has since become one of the most enduring acts of the genre in Germany. From the beginning, the name ASARU has stood for uncompromising black metal, deeply rooted in the Norwegian tradition yet always bearing its own distinctive and characterful signature.
