Horn's 10th studio album, following the 20th anniversary of the Black Metal project. Stylistically, Daudswiärk – `Work of Death` in the Low German variant formerly spoken in the Münsterland region – takes a few steps back in time after the rather experimental, multi-instrumental folk-influenced album `Verzet`, reverting to the basic Metal instruments, resulting in a concise, fast and short full-length album devoid of intros, outros or interludes. It features a very somber overarching tone compared to the rather upbeat Horn albums of the last years – blast beats, scattered dystopian synths, a heavy shift towards extreme vocals instead of clean ones. The output was produced by M. Stock (Empyrium/The Vision Bleak/Sun of the Sleepless).
