Trend is probably the most hateful thing in the human condition: it is like a pimp with a hooker: it takes a subject, produces it in mass, makes money or fame with it, and ditch it afterwards, letting the true lovers pick up the pieces. Let’s make it clear : it’s true Hanternoz appeared DURING the trend of pagan, but on those years, founders had no idea what the trend was like, because they had no access to it, no way to see concerts / buy CDs. So Hanternoz is a pagan black metal band, but certainly not one of those which will disappear once having dried the genre. The band plays genuine traditional regionalist black metal, and has no links with the so-called plastic vikings drowning the scene.
